Basketball Recap: Caldwell County Comes Up Short

Caldwell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 57-40 bruising from the Hopkins County Central Storm. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-49 last Friday.

Caldwell County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Hopkins County Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Caldwell County will venture away from home to take on Madisonville-North Hopkins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hopkins County Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-55 loss against Allen County-Scottsville on the 25th.
