Basketball Game Preview: Edgemont Moguls vs. Crawford Rams

Edgemont and Crawford are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Edgemont Moguls will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the Crawford Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Edgemont is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Crazy Horse on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Edgemont was dealt a 65-29 loss at the hands of Crazy Horse. The Moguls have struggled against the Chiefs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Crawford, as they earned their first road win of the season. They strolled past Sioux County with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 48-31.

Crawford now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Edgemont, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Edgemont opened the new year with a less-than-successful 46-35 loss to Crawford. Can Edgemont avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
