Ashville entered their tilt with Victory Christian on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ashville was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10.

Lydia Northam paced Ashville's offense, picking up seven kills. Northam got some help from Ryleigh Cothran and her ten assists. Evelyn Dole controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Ashville's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Victory Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Ashville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Ragland on the 23rd. Victory Christian has also already played their next contest (against Gadsden City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
