Softball Recap: Plaquemine Takes a Loss

After flying high against Scotlandville last Thursday, Plaquemine came back down to earth. The Plaquemine Green Devils came up short against the West Feliciana Saints on Thursday, falling 14-5. The Green Devils haven't had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Plaquemine's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for West Feliciana, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5.

Plaquemine has already played their next matchup (against St. John), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for West Feliciana, they will square off against Brusly at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brusly's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so West Feliciana's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
