Basketball Game Preview: Cruz Dragons vs. Morgan Park Academy Warriors

The Cruz Dragons will take on the Morgan Park Academy Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Monday, Cruz took a blow against Wolcott College Prep, falling 59-30. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Morgan Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 64-39 to Lycee Francais de Chicago.

Morgan Park Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Cruz, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Everything came up roses for Cruz against Morgan Park Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 79-48 victory. Will Cruz repeat their success, or does Morgan Park Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
