Basketball Recap: St. Charles Catholic Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Assumption last Thursday, St. Charles Catholic came back down to earth. The St. Charles Catholic Comets fell just short of the East Jefferson Warriors by a score of 60-57 on Friday.

St. Charles Catholic's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for East Jefferson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.

St. Charles Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Haynes Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Haynes Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something St. Charles Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Jefferson, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against St. Martin's Episcopal at 12:10 p.m. on Saturday.
