Softball Recap: Adna Beats Freeman for Their Fifth Straight Win

Adna extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 18-6 in the process. They beat the Freeman Scotties by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-6 on Saturday.

As for Freeman, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-4. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this game were averaging 2.62 runs allowed.

For Freeman's part, Mckenna Finley and Isabel Silva did some serious damage despite the final result: Finley went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run, while Silva went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run. Finley is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played.

As of now, neither Adna nor Freeman have any future games scheduled.
