Basketball Recap: Brown Comes Up Short

If Brown was feeling good fresh off their 53-23 takedown of Western last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears fell 47-42 to the Francis Parker Wyverns on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wyverns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-18 back in December of 2025.

Brown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Francis Parker, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8.

Coming up, Brown will host Waggener at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Francis Parker, they will head out to square off against Model at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots' defense has only allowed 29.9 points per game this season, so the Wyverns' offense will have their work cut out for them.
