Football Recap: Stillman Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Stillman Valley's offense. They were beaten by the North Boone Vikings 27-0 on Friday. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Connor Chamberlain had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 148 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries for North Boone. Those 148 rushing yards gave Chamberlain a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bradley Dahl, who rushed for 67 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Stillman Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for North Boone, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Stillman Valley will take on rival Winnebago at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Boone is set to square off against their familiar foe Byron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
