Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Animo Bunche). They took down the Central City Value Jaguars 65-49 on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Stallions considering their 30-point performance the contest before.

Central City Value's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brandon Valencia, who went 9 of 22 on his way to 23 points. Valencia continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. Andy Lobos was another key player, putting up 16 points and seven rebounds.

Animo Bunche's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Central City Value, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, Animo Bunche won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against USC-MAE at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central City Value, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Orthopaedic at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Orthopaedic will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Central City Value surely won't give up without a fight.
