Football Recap: Palmetto Mustangs vs. St. Joseph's Catholic Knights

Palmetto had lost five straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-8 to make it six. They came up short against the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights, falling 42-21. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 35-14 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaleb Ricketts, who rushed for 152 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries.
