Volleyball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

If Skyline was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Stockton on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Miller Cardinals on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since October 24, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-10.

Tymber Pinon paced Skyline's offense, picking up ten kills. Pinon got some help from Jenna Hunt and her 15 assists. Finally, Pinon was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high eight blocks.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Miller, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Skyline has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Central on the 27th. As for Miller, they will host Lockwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
