Volleyball Recap: Lake George Takes a Loss

Lake George was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Hartford Central Tanagers, falling 3-0. The Lakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tanagers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Lake George was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hartford Central's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 29-27.

Lake George's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hartford Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lake George is set to square off against their familiar foe Warrensburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hartford Central will face off against rival Granville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
