Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Wildcats vs. Bath Wildcats
Jefferson kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to Bath. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-16.
Jefferson's offense was headlined by Myah Buettner and Kailynn Halker, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Alissa Gallmeier and her nine assists. Kate Brinkman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Bath has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Perry on the 19th. As for Bath, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Memorial on the 21st.
