Baseball Recap: Alhambra Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

ALA - Gilbert North hit Alhambra with a five-run seventh inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lions fell 8-4 to the Eagles.

Alhambra saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emiliano Ramos Paco, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Alhambra's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-7. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alhambra will venture away from home to square off against Mountain Pointe at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Pride have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they are taking a road trip to take on Combs at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Coyotes at the right time seeing as the Coyotes are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
