Baseball Recap: Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Comes Up Short

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional lost against Falmouth back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dolphins fell just short of the Clippers by a score of 5-4.

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was RJ Delcourt, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Another was Ben Rondina, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Falmouth, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional will face off against Barnstable at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Falmouth, they will take on Martha's Vineyard Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Clippers 3.9, the Vineyarders 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
