The Mt. Diablo Red Devils will play host again on Friday to welcome the Berean Christian Eagles, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mt. Diablo is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 63-13 victory over Concord at home. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Berean Christian blew past Ygnacio Valley, posting a 52-6 victory at home.

Joshua Werner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 313 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 38 yards. Dane Lowden was Werner's top target, picking up 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Berean Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dean Vawter and Malachi Nunsuch. Vawter also set a new season high mark in total tackles with eight.
