Basketball Game Preview: Southridge Spartans vs. Creekside Seminoles

Two dominant guards in Naya Hardisson and C?India Dennis are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Southridge Spartans will be taking part in a tournament against the Creekside Seminoles at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Southridge's tournament run continued when they took on River Ridge on Saturday. Southridge came up short against River Ridge, falling 81-58. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 38th in Florida, while the Knights are ranked first in Georgia).

Meanwhile, Creekside put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 65-57 win over Lowndes.

Southridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Creekside, their victory bumped their record up to 19-0.
