Village Tech's tournament run continued when they took on John F. Kennedy on Saturday. Everything went the Village Tech Viper Squid's way against the John F. Kennedy Rockets as the Village Tech Viper Squid made off with a 57-33 win. The Viper Squid have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Village Tech got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacori Cathey out in front who went 7 of 12 on his way to 15 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Thomas, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 20 points.

Village Tech smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in six consecutive matches.

Village Tech has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for John F. Kennedy, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Village Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-41 win against Stephenville on the 28th. As for John F. Kennedy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 63-55 victory against Lockhart on the 28th.
