Basketball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin lost against Ross back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Franklin Wildcats had to suffer through a 57-17 loss at the hands of the Ross Rams. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 658th, while the Rams are ranked 154th).

Franklin has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Ross, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Franklin has already played their next game (against Oakwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ross will look to defend their home court on January 30th against Bellbrook at 7:15 p.m. Ross' defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so Bellbrook's offense will have their work cut out for them.
