Baseball Recap: Gresham Takes a Loss

Gresham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-0 to the Boulder Creek Jaguars.

Gresham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Boulder Creek, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gresham will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hillsboro at 5:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Boulder Creek, they will square off against Queen Creek at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Jaguars' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
