MMI Preparatory School had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 5-6 to make it four. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hanover Area Hawkeyes. MMI Preparatory School was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Hanover Area earlier this season, when they won 10-7.

Nick Pantages was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs.

As for Hanover Area, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-9. 11 seems to be a good number for they as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

On Hanover Area's side, Cole Kablick was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two runs gave Kablick a new career-high. Spencer Martinez was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.

Coming up, MMI Preparatory School will square off against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hanover Area, they will face off against Northwest Area at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The Rangers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Hawkeyes surely won't give up without a fight.
