Langley has gone 8-2 against McLean recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Langley is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering George C. Marshall just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Statesmen by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, McLean didn't have quite enough to beat Herndon on Thursday and fell 3-2.

McLean wouldn't go down easily and took Herndon into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 22-25, 15-25, 15-11.

Langley's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 16-4. As for McLean, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Langley took their win against McLean in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Saxons repeat their success, or do the Highlanders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
