Basketball Recap: Paloma Valley Wildcats vs. Heritage Patriots
The Paloma Valley Wildcats were the 72-65 winner over the Heritage Patriots when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Paloma Valley took a 82-76 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (68), Paloma Valley still had to take the loss.
Heritage's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adrian Viray led the charge by scoring 23 points. Aiden De Leon was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Paloma Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for Heritage, they pushed their record up to 11-14 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Paloma Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Heritage also has no future games currently scheduled.
