The Southern Prep Academy Fighting Rangers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They suffered a rough 65-42 defeat at the hands of Oaks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Southern Prep Academy has suffered since December 5, 2023.
Oaks' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Izzy Paul, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Paul has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ralph Paul, who scored 17 points.
Southern Prep Academy's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-11. As for Oaks, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
Southern Prep Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Success Unlimited Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oaks, they will head out on the road to face off against Chambers Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
