Baseball Recap: Tahlequah Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Tahlequah took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pryor. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pryor this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 last Monday.

Tahlequah has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Pryor, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-9.

Coming up, Tahlequah is taking a road trip to face off against MacArthur at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pryor, they will take on Collinsville at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
