Basketball Recap: Hamilton Heights Christian Academy Hawks vs. Walker Valley Mustangs
On Monday, Hamilton Heights Christian Academy came up short against the Mustangs and fell 52-44.
Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aisse Coulibaly, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Coulibaly has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tanah Becker, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Hamilton Heights Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Walker Valley, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hamilton Heights Christian Academy is on the road again on Friday and plays the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Soddy Daisy will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. As for Walker Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against the Cherokees at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
