Meanwhile, Galt was beaten by Argonaut 49-14 on Friday. The Warriors were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Although Galt took the loss, they still got scores from Robert Rubio and James Gilbert.

Union Mine's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Galt, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Union Mine against Galt in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Diamondbacks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
