Volleyball Recap: Columbia Central Comes Up Short at Home Against Pewamo-Westphalia

Columbia Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Eagles of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The victory got Pewamo-Westphalia back to even at 1-1.

Columbia Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Western on the 20th. As for Pewamo-Westphalia, they will take on Western Michigan Christian at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
