Soccer Recap: Basalt Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Basalt was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Grand Junction Central Warriors could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Basalt's record moves to 1-3-1. As for Grand Junction Central, they moved theirs to 1-1-1.

Looking ahead, Basalt will head out to face off against Summit at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Basalt will be up against Summit's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Grand Junction Central, they will host Palisade at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
