Air Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 69-25 win over the Palmer Ridge Bears. Given the Kadets' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Bears are ranked 63rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Air Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tatyonna Brown led the charge by dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinley Asp, who posted 15 points along with seven assists and four steals.

Air Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Palmer Ridge only racked up seven assists.

When it comes to explaining why Palmer Ridge lost, don't look at Lucy Zamborelli. Despite the final result, she went 5-for-11 on her way to 15 points.

Air Academy pushed their record up to 21-0 with the victory, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points over those games. As for Palmer Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

Air Academy has already played their next game, a 64-36 win against Lutheran on the 19th. As for Palmer Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 74-28 victory against Mesa Ridge on the 15th.
