Baseball Game Preview: The Colony Cougars vs. Creekview Mustangs

For the second straight game, The Colony will face off against Creekview. The Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, The Colony needed a bit of extra time to put away Creekview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mustangs 3-2.

German Pulido looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Riley Stewart was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Noah Martinez-Anderson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

The Colony's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Creekview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8.
