Village Christian Academy waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Trinity Christian Crusaders with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Village Christian Academy was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-3.

Celeste Horn paced Village Christian Academy's offense, picking up 16 kills. Horn got some help from Meghan Holzinger and her 14 assists. Zoey Henry controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Village Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Trinity Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Village Christian Academy will face off against rival Freedom Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Trinity Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Northwood Temple Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
