Baseball Recap: A.J. Ellender Takes a Loss

A.J. Ellender was the 5-0 winner over Springfield when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. A.J. Ellender came up short against Springfield on Saturday, falling 15-4.

A.J. Ellender saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayes Leblanc, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple.

A.J. Ellender's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Springfield, their record is now 10-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A.J. Ellender will challenge Assumption at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springfield, they will square off against Pine at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
