There's no place like home for Strom Thurmond, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers with a sharp 11-1 win on Wednesday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Olivia Grant was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Addyson Harrison was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Strom Thurmond was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Batesburg-Leesville only posted a batting average of .263.

Strom Thurmond's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Batesburg-Leesville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13-1.
