Softball Recap: Atlanta Wins Going Away Against Hale

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hillman, Atlanta was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Hale Eagles. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 11 runs or more this season.

Atlanta has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Hale, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Atlanta wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-0 victory against Wolverine on the 6th. As for Hale, they will square off against Hillman at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
