Section 6 C - North recap November 5, 2013
Cleveland Hill's Steve Mcillwain recorded the longest rushing play in Section 6 C - North this season in his game against Lackawanna last week. Mcillwain ran for 82 yards on the play and finished with 82 on the day as his team beat the Steelers.
Fans got a thrill when Trevor Noon and Stone Geise connected against Barker/Royalton-Hartland. The connection was good for 85 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Newfane's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Noon threw for 163 and 2 touchdowns and Nathan Auernhamer had 83 yards receiving. On the ground Kyle Guerriera contributed 136 yards. Geise helped Newfane's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 85 yards.

Empson Ryan was a key player and the best on defense this week as Newfane fell to Barker/Royalton-Hartland. The 6-foot-1 junior recorded 2 fumbles.
Timothy Walch was a passing and rushing force as Wilson fell to Medina/Webber. He completed 12 passes for 116 yards and also ran for 65 yards. Walch's key target this week was Andrew Koroschetz, who caught 3 passes for 57 yards.
The Lakemen's Walch and Kevin Daunce led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Walch has thrown for 1,128 yards this season, while Daunce has 36 catches for 617 yards. Cleveland Hill's Brandon Thomas leads the league in rushing yards with 758.
Glen Graham's team scaled the state rankings by moving to 116 from 155 this week, the biggest jump in Section 6 C - North. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Lackawanna 36-6.
