Softball Recap: Riverton Takes a Loss

Riverton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 20-1 to the Tri-City Tornadoes. The Hawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tornadoes from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Brooklyn Lanham made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. That run marked the first that she scored this season.

Riverton's loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Riverton will take on Lincolnwood at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tri-City, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Warrensburg-Latham at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
