Softball Recap: Harborfields Takes a Loss

Harborfields was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Hauppauge Eagles, falling 18-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on April 2nd.

Harborfields saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lena Altomare, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Harborfields' loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Hauppauge, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Harborfields is set to square off against their familiar foe Rocky Point at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hauppauge will take on rival Westhampton Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
