Basketball Recap: Barren County Comes Up Short

Barren County fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against South Warren on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 74-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Warren Spartans. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Barren County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for South Warren, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Barren County is taking a road trip to square off against Allen County-Scottsville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Warren, they will be home for the holidays to greet Owensboro at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
