University City had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Clairemont on Thursday. The University City Centurions were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Clairemont Chieftains. Winning may never get old, but the Centurions sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

University City didn't let Clairemont take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 28-26, 25-23.

University City pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Clairemont, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4.

Coming up, University City is taking a road trip to challenge Francis Parker at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clairemont, they will host Olympian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
