Basketball Game Preview: Richwood Lumberjacks vs. Montcalm Generals

The Richwood Lumberjacks will square off against the Montcalm Generals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Richwood has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight defeats, while Montcalm will come in with three straight wins.

Richwood lost 59-38 to Pocahontas County on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Montcalm hadn't done well against River View recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Montcalm breezed past River View to the tune of 63-31. The Generals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Montcalm's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Richwood, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.

Richwood took a serious blow against Montcalm in their previous matchup back in February, falling 67-31. Can Richwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
