Basketball Game Preview: Snake River Panthers vs. Marsh Valley Eagles

The Snake River Panthers will head out to challenge the Marsh Valley Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Snake River will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Snake River will head into Thursday's matchup hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 31-point drubbing they dealt Bear Lake on Thursday. Snake River simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bear Lake 70-39. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Marsh Valley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-40 win over American Falls on Thursday.

Snake River pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Marsh Valley, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Snake River strolled past Marsh Valley in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a score of 65-50. Will Snake River repeat their success, or does Marsh Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
