Ayden Gardner Dazzles in Bloomington Defeat

Starting off the list is Bloomington's Ayden Gardner, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Gardner rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. He has become a key player for Bloomington: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

Bloomington now has a losing record at 3-4. Gardner and Bloomington will take on Weimar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Logan Bures and Co. Win Fourth in a Row

Ganado picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Logan Bures. Bures did his part (and then some), making five total tackles for the 'W'.

On the season, Bures has averaged 1.8 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive: after four games last season, he was only averaging 32.75 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 91 rushing yards.

Bloomington Gets a Boost from Gardner in 39-28 Loss

The second Bloomington player making an appearance here is Amari Gardner, and for good reason. He rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.

Unfortunately for Kenedy, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Gardner. When Gardner last faced the Lions back in October of 2023, he rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns.

Bryce Ullman Makes It Two for Ganado

The second Ganado player making an appearance here is Bryce Ullman, and for good reason. He made four total tackles.

Another Ganado player making an appearance on this list is Landon Hicks. He made 15 total tackles and defended a pass. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 75 yards.

This year, Hicks has averaged 7.3 total tackles per game.
