Softball Recap: Stratford Comes Up Short

Stratford fell victim to Sumter and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Gamecocks, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Stratford has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14-1 record this season. As for Sumter, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-6-1.

As of now, neither Stratford nor the Gamecocks have any future games scheduled.
