             Summit Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against St. Michael the Archangel recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Summit Christian Academy Eagles will host the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians  at 6:30  p.m.
 Last Thursday, Summit Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Adrian and fell  3-2. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Blackhawks  25-17 in the first  period.
 Summit Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 17-25, 25-22, 25-18,  15-12.
 Despite the  loss, Summit Christian Academy had strong showings from  Ashlynn Brown, who  had 11  digs and two  aces, and  Gabi Broom, who  had six  digs and 17  assists. That's the most  aces  Brown has posted since back in September.
 Even though they lost, Summit Christian Academy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 14  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Adrian only served ten.
 Meanwhile, St. Michael the Archangel came tearing into  Monday's  game with ten straight wins  and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the Panthers  3-2.
 The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was St. Michael the Archangel who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-17, 17-25,  15-10.
 Summit Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9-1. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their victory was  their ninth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 17-3.
 Summit Christian Academy suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to St. Michael the Archangel  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023. Can Summit Christian Academy avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
