Baseball Recap: Westfield Area Takes a Loss

Westfield Area lost against Amherst on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pioneers might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-3 to the Falcons, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westfield Area's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Amherst, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Westfield Area wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-6 victory against Pardeeville on the 11th. As for Amherst, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Shiocton on the 11th.
