Sandy Spring Friends had lost four games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 8-4  on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They never let the Burke Bengals get on the board and left with  a   7-0  win. Considering the Wildebeests have won four matchups by more than six  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Jacob Edelman was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Minheyeok (Steve) Kim, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
As for Burke, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. Considering the last time they couldn't score was  back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.
 On Burke's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Max Gruber, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base. Gruber is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last six games he's  played.
 Looking ahead, Sandy Spring Friends will head out on the road to  challenge  Avalon  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Burke, they will host McLean  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
