Baseball Recap: Reagan County Comes Up Short

Reagan County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wink Wildcats. The Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Reagan County's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Wink, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Reagan County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wink, they will welcome Ozona at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are on a six-game streak of home wins, the Lions a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
