Basketball Recap: Marlborough Comes Up Short

Marlborough was the 49-47 winner over Algonquin Regional when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Marlborough Panthers lost to the Algonquin Regional Titans at home by a 63-49 margin on Tuesday.

Marlborough's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Algonquin Regional, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marlborough is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Groton-Dunstable at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Algonquin Regional, they will venture away from home to take on St. John's at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
